The last day of the charity marathon “High five!” is underway, with the total donated so far approaching 500,000 euros.
In all 469,274 euros had already been donated by Thursday at 2:00 p.m. The funds donated in the charity marathon will help people with critical and acute health problems who need immediate help, but whose treatment costs are not covered by the state.
The active part of the charity marathon will end on Thursday evening, shortly after 10:00 p.m. but donations will still be accepted until January 6th.
All funds donated during the marathon will go to the charity organization Ziedot.lv to help begin immediate treatment for people who are separated from life by a specific and unattainable amount of money. If you would like to donate, here’s how you can do it.
