The State Blood Donor Center (VADC) is asking people to find time to donate blood in the rush before the holidays.
The holidays mean reduced donor activity and hospitals need blood supplies at all times. Donors of all blood types, especially O-, O , B and A-, are currently welcome, the State Blood Donor Center said.
Rides are organized to get closer to donors. To find your nearest blood donation location, follow the December schedule on the VADC website or on social media accounts. Donors are also welcomed at the permanent donation sites.
The VADC invites people to pay attention to the changes in opening hours, in particular to the fact that it will be open on weekends and on the postponed working days of December 14 and 28 .
