Lithuania updates travel list – arrivals from UK, Sweden and Portugal still banned

Lithuania has on Monday allowed arrivals from 28 countries, including Belgium which was previously blacklisted. People travelling to Lithuania from 25 countries will no longer need to self-isolate. However, arrivals from Belgium, Ireland, and Malta are still required to spend two weeks in self-isolation. Meanwhile, a travel ban remains in place for Sweden, the United Kingdom, and Portugal. The United Kingdom is planning a combined landing operations exercise in Estonia in summer 2019 that will involve the army as well as the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force. On 10 October, the exhibition “BUILDING BRIDGES: Relations between the United Kingdom and the Republic of Lithuania in 1918-1940” was opened at Lithuania‘s Foreign Ministry.
