Experts from the Latvian Center for Disease Prevention and Control are resigning due to overload

In just one month of 2021, three employees of the Latvian Center for Disease Prevention and Control (SPKC) have resigned. SPKC currently employs 143 professionals as listed on their website. SPKC representatives acknowledged that resources are insufficient to ensure effective Covid-19 management.
