India aborted the launch on Monday of a spacecraft intended to land on the far side of the moon less than an hour before liftoff. Booster rockets carrying a Soyuz MS-10 spacecraft with a Russian and a US astronaut on board, failed mid-air on Thursday forcing the crew to make an emergency landing. American Nick Hague, 43, and Russian Aleksey Ovchinin, 47 were the two astronauts bound for the International Space Station before having to abort the mission.
