On Thursday, Lithuania marks the centenary of the Constituent Seimas, or Constituent Assembly, that was democratically elected in 1920 to draft and adopt Lithuania’s first permanent Constitution of 1922. The Constituent Seimas was elected on April 14–15, 1920, and convened its first sitting on May 15, 1920.
