Interior Minister Sandis Girgens (KPV LV) on Thursday, February 11, will propose to the Cabinet of Ministers to lift curfew, and use the resources for monitoring restriction during daytime and at weekends, LETA learned from the Interior Ministry. “We should revise usefulness of curfew hours because such restrictions were introduced initially to prevent people’s traditional mass gatherings during Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
