According to the Center for Disease Prevention and Control, a total of 23 persons have sought medical attention for a food poisoning outbreak in Sigulda kindergartens as of Sunday – 19 children and four kindergarten staff members. First two flu deaths recorded in Latvia this winter

Flu has claimed the first two lives in Latvia this winter, according to the data of the Center for Disease Prevention and Control. RIGA – Eight flu fatalities were reported in Latvia last week. All but one of those flu patients had other chronic diseases, the Center for Disease Prevention and Control said.
