Lithuanian companies’ cumulative direct investment abroad totaled 3.7 billion euros in late September 2018, a rise of 19% compared with a year ago, informed LETA/BNS. 90% of Lithuania’s direct investment was in EU member states and 65.1 % in euro area countries alone, the Bank of Lithuania and Statistics Lithuania said in a joint press release on Thursday. Unemployment level in Latvia stays at 6.4% in June

The registered unemployment level in Latvia was at 6.4 percent of the economically active population at the end of June this year, or unchanged from May, according to the State Employment Agency’s data.
