Don’t know where to celebrate New Year yet? Fear not – if you are in the capital city with no plans, Rīga is hosting a range of New Year parties and gatherings waiting for you, according to Rīga’s tourism website Live Riga.

Rīga invites everyone to welcome the arrival of 2025 in six squares of Old Town: Town Hall Square, Līvu Square, Pils Square, the section of Kaļķu Street between Vaļņu Street and Aspāzijas Boulevard, the square near the Pulvertornis Tower, and the street parallel to the 11th November Embankment between Poļu gāte and Bīskapa gāte.

At the New Year’s Eve celebrations, popular DJs will perform, and video projections created by young artists, children, and youth of Rīga will be displayed on building facades.

In Old Town squares, DJs including DJ Ella, DJ Makree, Funky DJ Elegant, DJ PM2AM, DJ Monsta, and TV host Armands Simsons will ensure a lively mood and invite everyone to dance.

Drinks and snacks will be available at the event locations. Dance floor maps for Riga’s New Year celebration will be placed around Old Town.

The  Padejosim? event venue (Brīvības Street 401C ) invites everyone to a New Year celebration “with intention” – to think about how you want to welcome 2025 so that you can also spend it that way.

This event will include less partying and more peace, with a heart opening ceremony, cocoa ceremony, acoustic dance music and a gift exchange. For more details, visit  this website.

 K. K. fon Stricka Villa (Aristīda Briāna Street 9)  invites you to a rather exclusive and luxurious cabaret, named “The smallest New Year of Rīga”, featuring performances on multiple stages, including burlesque, opera, jazz, cabaret, gospel, electronic music, and dance.
