Only 30,337 people were vaccinated against Covid-19 last week, which is the lowest result since the end of March, when Latvia did not yet vaccinate the general population, according to data compiled by the National Health Service (NVD) September 13.
In the spring, the government set a target to vaccinate at least 100,000 people a week, and this indicator was reached for a few weeks in a row in May. The pace has been declining all summer.
