On December 31 and January 1, Riga public transport will be free. Extra services will be provided on several routes. On Monday, December 30, public transport will run according to the holiday timetable.
Parking lots operated by Rīgas Satiksme will also be free of charge, except for the underground parking lot at 5A K. Valdemāra Street. During the holidays there will also be changes in the opening hours of Riga Traffic customer centres.
On the night of December 31 to January 1, at around half past midnight and 2 AM, extra services will be operated on some routes:
