Lithuania has registered 922 new coronavirus infections and 10 deaths from Covid-19 over the past 24 hours.
The fatalities include a person in their 20s. A total of 4,655 people have died from Covid-19 in Lithuania so far, including 47 who were fully vaccinated.
Lithuania’s 14-day coronavirus infection rate has risen to 349.4 cases per 100,000 people, with the share of positive tests for the past 7 days at 6.2 percent.
Overall, 306,558 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Lithuania since the start of the pandemic, including 8,846 active cases.
The country’s hospitals are currently treating 763 coronavirus patients, 82 of them need intensive care.
On Thursday, 4,576 people in the country were vaccinated with the first vaccine dose, 7,676 received their second jab.
So far, 60.6 percent of the population have been vaccinated at least once, or 69.1 percent of people over 12.
