On Thursday, June 10, Latvia recorded 196 new cases of Covid-19. The total number of cases detected since the start of the pandemic now stands at 135,584. Lithuania will allow impeached president to run for parliament

A vote of the Latvian parliament, on June 10 decided to waive the parliamentary immunity of long-time deputy Janis Adamsons to help an investigation into whether he passed sensitive information to Russia.
