Data of the Labor Force Survey (LFS) conducted by the Central Statistical Bureau (CSB) published May 20 show that in April 2021 actual unemployment rate comprised 8.0%, which is 0.1 percentage point less than in March.  The unemployment rate among females remained at 7.5% in April, while among males it decreased by 0.1 percentage point to 8.5%. A member of Lithuania’s Tauragė City Basketball Club has been found guilty of match fixing, following a pre-trial investigation conducted by Klaipėda Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
