Revolut launches as a bank in Latvia

Global financial platform Revolut  has on February 15 operationalized its European specialized banking licence in Latvia, according to a release by Revolut. Lithuania updates Covid-19 vaccination plan, to start mass vaccination in spring

On Monday, Lithuania’s Health Ministry said it had updated the existing Covid-19 vaccination plan and now plans to start mass vaccination of people in the spring. Moody’s improves Lithuania’s credit rating

International rating agency Moody’s has improved Lithuania’s long-term credit rating to A2, from A3, with a stable outlook after six years, and Standard & Poor’s has affirmed the existing rating of A+, from A, with a stable outlook. Unemployment in Estonia up 16,000 on year to 2020

Unemployment rose 16,000 to 47,900, or 6.8 percent, between 2019 and 2020, state agency Statistics Estonia reports, with short-term (less than half a year unemployed) joblessness making up the bulk of that figure. Lithuania records 885 new cases, 30 deaths over the weekend

According to LRT, Lithuania reported 510 new cases of Covid-19 on Saturday and 375 on Sunday. A total of 30 deaths were registered over the weekend – 17 on Saturday and 13 on Sunday.
